Several girls on my team and myself have started a Bible study on the book of 1 Peter.  Along with studying it most of us have decided to memorize the whole book as we go.  Memorizing  two verses a day  we  will be able to get the whole book done by  the time we get home.   At the start the thought  of memorizing a complete book of the Bible completely freaked me out. I was sure that I would never be able to do it, because I am horrible at memorizing scripture, but I figured I could give it a try. 
We are know two weeks into it and I have the first chapter done.  I LOVE IT!  memorizing scripture in large chunks is the way to go.  Doing this has added so much to my understanding of first Peter and has been such a blessing to me.
     1 Peter is great and is packed with all kinds of Great stuff but my favorite concept so far has been the fact that Jesus Christ is yet to be revealed to us.  I love the thought of it, We think that we know Him and we do have a relationship with Him but Peter talks about the hope we have for when Jesus Christ is revealed and the the glory of it.  I wish I could give justice to this idea or just be able to go on about it but I do not have words for it and I am running out of time on the internet, so I will leave it to you if you wish to look into this and meditate on this idea and read 1 Peter.
